Removable Tailstock for grinding high-precision gear cutting tools

The removable Tailstock is used for grinding and resharpening of several tool families: Hobs, Shaper Cutters, Power skiving, Reamers, Endmills, Threading tools. It has been designed to be easily and quickly removed from its mounting position, in order to allow collision-free operation for grinding shaft tools too.

The gear-cutting tools can be clamped on arbours or on their own shafts.
The loading process can be automatic as well as manual.

Remember:The 6th axis is needed in most cases for grinding the profile of hobs. Hobs can be ground completely in one clamping (flutes and profiles).
